Dharana 24 — the space between breaths

The instruction, as the text gives it:

Attend to the breath as it turns — the moment after the out-breath ends and before the in-breath begins.

In that pause, the Divine is not hidden.

Every dharana in the book is an experiment, not a doctrine. This one asks for nothing but noticing.

Sit comfortably. Breathe normally. You are not slowing the breath; you are only watching the turn.

If you try this for a week, notice: does the pause feel like an absence, or a presence?
